Gravity Casting Kitchen Appliances
- Die casting is a method of casting using a machine, whereas gravity casting is a traditional casting method where molten aluminum is manually poured into a mold. This casting method requires a high level of skill and is not suitable for mass production.
- The long cooling time allows for the formation of a uniform aluminum molecular structure, which ensures even heat distribution throughout the body, preventing hot spots (excessive heat concentration). As a result, food does not stick or burn.
- High-density and high-purity gravity-cast aluminum has faster heat transfer compared to conventional die-casting methods.
- We used a patented method to attach a stainless steel bottom for induction use (Patent No. 0512891).
- The CNC machining ensures a clean finish.
- 'Blackstone coating' is a coating material developed to meet the demands of gravity casting products, combining the advantages of both the durability of ceramic coating with the non-stick properties of PTFE coating.
- The material's weak internal corrosion resistance can lead to corrosion penetrating the coating for die-cast products using PTFE coating, especially those used primarily for boiling salt water. Therefore, a soft anodized layer treatment is necessary before coating (it appears chalky and cannot be removed). However, due to the purity of gravity-cast aluminum, corrosion is unlikely to occur, making additional treatment unnecessary.
Blackstone coating
- 'Blackstone coating' is a coating material developed to meet the demands of gravity casting products, combining the advantages of both the durability of ceramic coating with the non-stick properties of PTFE coating. Of course, this can also be applied to general die-cast kitchen appliances in addition to gravity casting.
In addition to all the functionalities of the existing Megastone coating, it offers improved wear resistance, internal corrosion resistance, and salt resistance. (This coating method requires one additional firing compared to the existing coating.)
- The coating material contains nanized particles of natural stones, including zirconium and black mica. This enhances durability and emits far-infrared rays, which are beneficial to both the human body and food.
- The durability is more than three times greater than that of conventional coatings and has passed an abrasion resistance test of 150,000 times. (It can also pass abrasion resistance tests beyond this number of times.)
- No PFOA or other harmful substances are detected. The coating material is manufactured using eco-friendly and non-toxic raw materials.
- This coating combines the durability of ceramic coating with the non-stick retention of PTFE coating, offering the best of both advantages.
